Welcome to Renbin’s Page
Welcome to my page. I am an astronomer doing research at University of Toronto in Canada as a postdoctoral fellow. My research interests are mostly in observational astrophysics, including galaxy evolution, galaxy clusters, AGN-galaxy coevolution, and large scale structure of the universe. I also enjoy using N-body simulations to help interpret observational results.
I did my undergraduate study in Physics at Peking University in China, where I received solid math and physics training. I then went to University of California, Berkeley, where I obtained my Ph.D degree in astrophysics at the Department of Astronomy. I did my thesis work with Prof. Marc Davis and Martin White in a variety of subjects. Now I am working as a post-doc in the RCS collaboration. I am also a member of the DEEP2 Team and the AEGIS collaboration. To find out more about me, you may have a look at my CV.
